Panasonic is hoping fashion-conscious types will be attracted to its new SV-SD80, the latest addition in its line of wearable devices. It weighs only 26 grams, so you'll barely notice the compact digital audio player attached with the armband or hanging around your neck on the included lanyard. The SV-SD80 plays songs off a stamp-sized, 64MB Secure Digital (SD) card, which can store up to 129 minutes of your favourite music (MP3, WMA and AAC audio formats). Songs are transferred from your PC using the supplied USB reader/writer and Real Jukebox software. The player runs off one rechargeable NiMH battery and one AAA battery, but costs a hefty $799.
